(More customer reviews)The Lamas Beauty website claims that this soy hydrating shampoo is "gentle enough to use every day to give chemically treated, dry or damaged hair a healthy new start." Unfortunately using this shampoo only once or twice a week dried out my hair. I gave it to my roommate, who also has dry hair, but not quite as dry as mine. He uses this shampoo twice a week with satisfactory results, but doesn't particularly like this product. It doesn't lather well, but folks who are avoiding laurel and laureth sulfates might not mind.
I appreciate that it contains no coloring, has little scent, and a variety of natural ingredients intended to help one's hair, such as jojoba oil and avocado. And kudos to Peter Lamas for making a completely cruelty-free product not tested on animals with no animal ingredients. This shampoo didn't work for my ultra dry hair, but if you have normal to dry hair, and don't mind a shampoo that doesn't lather well, it might work for you.
