(More customer reviews)These rollers are the BEST mesh rollers out there.The spring is more tightly coiled than the wire springs in other similar rollers,making it a much firmer roller,thereby eliminating the creases one can get in the others.There is no brush in them to get tangled up into the hair which is also great.The construction is basically a steel spring with a plastic mesh sleeve over it,and the ends are tucked back into the roller. Sometimes the end does come loose, but all you have to do is shove it back in. I have NEVER had a problem with the sleeve coming off or sliding in any way.These rollers are better also because of the lack of brushes.Brushes tangle in the hair and cause breakage,not to mention messing up the curl pattern.Also the air (natural or artificial) can circulate quickly and more evenly to all the hair,both the inside and outside layer. You just have to know how to secure them, and to use the correct styling products (like any beauty aid)They are easily secured to the head with roller pins or clippies, and with a good gel or setting lotion you should acieve a good curl.Of course some very straight hair is just not going to hold a tight curl very long no matter what product or roller you use. This is also the preferred brand of rollers used by professional hairdressers and wigstylists in the theatre and film industry.They are ideal for wigs as well as hair on someones head.I might recommend checking out Ebay for a cheaper price however...
