(More customer reviews)Over the years I have used a few different shampoos, and I am now using Suave for Men. I have been using it for about the past 10 months and have been very impressed. The shampoo smells similar to a cologne which I like a lot. It does not smell like any fruit or flowers like many other shampoos. The lather is decent, it is not too weak, nor too strong. I have used it after restaurant shifts and dirty jobs, and it has done well. There were a few times that I ended up going 4 days without a shower, due to an extremely heavy work load and it did very well on those occasions. The shampoo does an excellent job of cleaning well, and leaving hair with a fresh, clean scent. I found that it also seems to help reduce and prevent dandruff. It leaves the hair with a nice soft feel too.
One thing I am very happy with is that the shampoo does not add much body. I am 22 years old with brown hair that is very thick, and I do not want any extra body added like many other shampoos do. This shampoo also works very well when Suave Conditioner for Men is used. The shampoo also does not lose effectiveness over time like I have noticed with some other shampoos. Overall I am impressed.
