I wanted travel friendly shampoo and I was looking for something that would be gentle on my sensitive skin. This product looked interesting, and after a bit of debate (I have hard water) I ordered it. Wow. I'm glad I did. It took a few washings for me to figure out the best way to use this, but it was worth the effort. A few things I learned...do not get this product in your eyes, it stings worse than regular shampoo but washes out more easily. Don't rub the bar around on your head if you have long hair (tangles). It lathers up just fine if you just sort of run it back along your head like a comb and then work up a lather with your fingers. Dry your hair promptly after washing and you won't need conditioner or a product to blow dry with. This bar leaves my hair easy to comb, if not exactly as silky smooth as a bottled conditioner, and my hair stays clean a long time after using it. I use a tea tree shampoo intermittantly for my scalp, and that seems to take care of any residue as well. I am very happy with this product. Bonus-this bar has just a paper wrapper, minimum garbage, very green.
