I have several geriatric clients that occasionally have health issues or surgeries that render them bedridden. This is the next best thing to a real shampoo. It lathers and it cleans the scalp as well as the hair. Unlike the clay-based spray products, it also will remove old styling product build-up. Afterwards I can blowdry and curl iron as usual. They all tell me that they feel truly clean. My mother in law was suffering a long recovery this past summer. I used this on her as well when she was in the hospital.
