(More customer reviews)Since using this product, I have had more compliments on my hair than ever before. I stopped going to the salon to get a weave with low-lights because after a while all my hair was colored and my long hair was fried with the ends going all directions and it would not hold curl despite the fact that I had gone to an expensive salon that uses "natural" products. I let the grey grow out to see if the problem was my grey hair texture or the color treatments. After the color treated hair grew out, my hair was more manageable and again held curl. Problem was now my hair was grey.
I started using a herbal product that turns the grey to blonde without frying my hair. It worked but is very messy and takes forever to wash out all the herbs leaning over the sink/tub. It would wear off in two months and I dreaded going through the process again. I spotted Fanci-Full TEMPORARY hair color walking down the grocery aisle and decided to give it a try in addition to the herbs. At first I wasn't sure it was doing much because it's so subtle, but I didn't seem to need to do the herbs anymore and, best of all, I started getting comments on my hair with one person specifically commenting on how she liked the color. I haven't been complimented on my hair since I first colored it at the salon! So I think people were noticing the grey disappearing whether they realized it or not, but they didn't notice until I added this product to my strategy.
Another reviewer was complaining about the time it takes to dry and then the difficulty of rinsing it out. The directions specifically say "do not rinse." You just apply it after shampooing and leave it in. It is watery, but it washes off my hands easily and hasn't stained my sink or towels. My hair feels just as silky as without it and the product is odorless to my nose. While I get tired of having to apply it every time I shampoo, it's still a breeze compared to the herbs.
I'm glad to find the product here in Frivolous Fawn because that color is no longer carried at my store. I've been using Plush Brown, but for some reason it doesn't cover my grey as well. So I will be ordering the Frivolous Fawn soon.
