Please note, my review may be affected by the fact that i used the Silk Result Shampoo AND Conditioner together.
I absolutely recommend this product for anyone with thick, frizzy, curly hair!
I have used this product (bought locally) and immediately noticed a difference in the texture of my hair. Normally when rinsing shampoo out and before conditioner is applied, my hair takes on a VERY course, hay-like feel. Running my fingers through any part of my hair at that point would be impossible without severe pulling and breakage! I also get clumps of pulled out hair from the lathering process. This happens with MOST shampoos I have tried, including Nexxus, Garnier, Matrix, Dove, Bed Head, FrizzEase etc..
After using this shampoo and conditioner combo for just a few days, the clumps of hair decreased to just a few strands (which seems normal to me) and the texture was dramatically improved! The fact that i could run a COMB through my hair before I even applied the conditioner was astounding! Not that I would recommend it, but I COULD!!
The Silk Result also has reduced the amount of styling product I have to put in my hair to keep it from frizzing once it dries. I am beginning to wonder if after extended use, I can skip some the styling products altogether.
