(More customer reviews)I have been buying this product from my local beauty supply whiic is at the corner of my block. I am african american as well and this product works wonders in my hair. I have to purchase the shampoo from amazon. They don't sell it in the store because the owner claims alot of people are unfamiliar with the product and it sits on the shelf too long, so they don't order it. I can do with or without the shampoo, but This deep conditioner is the best I have used on my hair thus far. I Love it! I apply mine just like I would apply a perm by parting my hair into fours and apply. Let is sit at leat 10min and rinse with cool water. The hair comes out perfect every time.
