(More customer reviews)I have long, thin, coarse hair, and have attempted getting my hair done professionally and it never came out right. I have very dark brown hair with grays. I have tried other colors and other brands and so far have found this to be the best for me. Sometimes, with other colors, my hair comes out way too dark for my light complexion. After the first shampoo,(you're supposed to wait a day) the color comes out to my liking. It lightens with a few more shampoos. I have tried the reddish tints, but they are just not natural looking with my eyebrow color. Also, reddish tint dyes end up leaving me with brassy looking hair when it nears time to re-color my hair. I only wash my hair every other day, which extends the duration of the color and keeps my hair from drying up. My hair used to have a lot of split ends, and it is much healthier now which I think has something to do with this non-permanent hair color plus the shampoo and conditioner I use. I have found this color for as little as $5.99 each when you buy two. PS I really don't like the process of having to color my hair, but I just can't put my fragile hair in the hands of a stranger anymore and most beauty salons will say that their products are gentle, but no salons that I have been to carry non-permanent, amonia-free hair color and that's the only kind that my hair can handle without getting ruined.
