(More customer reviews)I am very sensitive to fragrances and purchased this product for its "fragrance-free" claim. I have not had any noticeable reaction to the product in the two times I have used it over the last three weeks. Though it seems less toxic than most shampoos on the market, I still question its safety. Here are the ingredients listed on the label:
Water, Disodium PEG-5 Laurylcitrate Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco-Glucoside, PEG-18 Glycerol Oleate/Cocoate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Olive Leaf Extract, Palmitamidopropyltrimonium EDTA, Sorbitol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, DMDMHydantoin, Sodium Benzoate.
Remember that the cosmetics industry is mostly self-regulated! Search the net for more information on the safety of the cosmetics, cleansers, detergents, etc. commonly used in America today. We cannot rely upon the government or the industries themselves to "keep us safe". We must educate ourselves and refuse to purchase unsafe products. We must not allow advertisers to brainwash us into believing that we "need" their products in order to be healthy, happy, successful or lovable. Check out the book, "Beauty to Die For" by Judi Vance. It is just one of many that will start to open your eyes.
