(More customer reviews)I had heard from many different people that "sulfates" were bad for your hair. That they stripped the color from your hair and also could dry it out. So, I started looking into a sulfate free shampoo. I tried the inexpensive store brand and was NOT impressed, I tried free samples I received in the mail and was NOT impressed. I felt that these shampoos were making my hair GREASY and unmanageable. UNTIL, one day I ran across a review for the Kenra Sulfate Free Shampoo. The reviews were excellent. I really did NOT want to pay a lot of money for my shampoo and coniditioner, but thought if it was going to make my hair color last longer (I get highlights every 2 months), then maybe it would be worth it. I purchased both the Kenra Sulfate Free Shampoo and Mango Butter Conditioner. I have to be honest, the first few days I was NOT that impressed, however, after about the third day I really started noticing a difference and now I'm hooked! I went to my hairdresser the other night and she commented on how great my haircolor looked. She couldn't believe that the "red highlights" in my hair were holding up as good as they were. I told her I had switched to the Kenra Sulfate Free Shampoo and she said she had to check it out herself!! I have thick, medium-long length hair with blonde and red highlights. I highlight my hair every 2 months and wash it every other day. I highly recommend this product - I'll be buying again!!
