(More customer reviews)I bought this cutting cape to cut my son's hair (he's 6). The description said that it was made of nylon, althought the title says vinyl. It is NOT made of nylon. It is made of slightly stiff,smelly vinyl. The cape is actually a shampooing cape, which completely covers the front of a child, but is shorter in the back. The velcro closures work well. You can close the neckhole so that it is snug and doesn't allow hair to get underneath. I was hoping for something that covered well all the way around. We used the cape for a haircut and it worked fine though. Overall, this product works fine. I think a nylon cutting cape would be better, as it wouldn't be so stiff and would probably last longer since vinyl tends to crack eventually. The cape is a good price, but the postage doubles the cost. Still, it's affordable and a good value. I would recommend this product.
