(More customer reviews)My hair is very fine, soft, flat and thin. Your basically lousy hair. I've been on a search for the best volumizer I can find. I think I've tried them all. My search is now over. Lift Up gave me the most volume and lift ever and left my hair still soft and touchable and CLEAN. ( This product is not goopy or sticky like many other style producs.) I used it straight - no other products needed. I spray it into my hands and then apply to my hair, especially the roots. My hair is medium length so I use about 2 tablespoons (eyeballed). The first time I used it I wondered when I had turned into Roseanne Rosannadanna. A little of this goes quite a long way.
I actually bought this item a while ago, but it got buried in my hair products stash. I unearthed it last week, used it alone after shampooing (NO conditioner for me, ever) and saw amazing results. The first time, almost TOO amazing. LOL!
I came to Amazon to make sure it was sill being sold, and was thrilled to see that it was. :)
If you have fine soft hair that tends to be flat and lifeless, look no further.
All I need to use now is Lift Up, Toppik, and a lightweight hair spray. I can throw out all the other gels, bodifiers, mousses, creams, etc. I get compliments all the time on my hair now!
PS: I style my hair after shampooing with velcro rollers and I air dry. Many volumizing products require heat to activate, but it's not necessary with Lift Up. I don't blow dry, so if you do you may have different results.
