I know I was. Every weekend as I watched football or golf I would see couples in glamorous situations that just weren't happening for my wife and me. Here we are with our boring old lives at home, and all these other middle aged couples are relaxing in dual porcelain, claw footed, old fashioned bathtubs, perched above glorious views of a beach.
Of course I always wonder, if their reliance on Cialis gets them in this situation and becomes of benefit to them, how do the mechanics work out when they are in SEPARATE bathtubs? I digress.
How, I would ask, do they EVER get those bathtubs out there? They weigh hundreds of pounds! I have a van ... not one of these teensy weensy mini-vans that were so popular a few years ago, but a real Dodge RAM 250 that was popular years before the mini-vans. It will hold a half ton of QuikCrete perched right on top of its rear bumper without a sag in the springs, but it will NOT fit two old fashioned, porcelain bathtubs inside. I also wondered how they managed to fill them. No spigots are in evidence in any of those commercials. No hose is laying coiled nearby.
So those couples continued to mock me with their superior know how, week after week, and I started to fume.
Finally inspiration struck. I've never encountered a product related problem that I could not solve using the vast resources of Amazon.com. How could I have been so stupid for so long? I searched, and in only moments found ... Inflatable Bath Tub Ez Bathe Portable Bathtub With Accessories. It felt like cheating, but it was within financial and logistical means. The tub was a perfect solution. It was also new and improved. The description said right there that the new streamlined design is longer and deeper. Somehow that phrase resonated. They pounded it into my head not once but TWICE that the double tube design helps prevent spashes and spills. I knew that had to be important. I pondered upon this heavily, but I never did figure out how this would benefit me.
I ordered two.
The next weekend we set out for the beach with two Inflatable Bath Tub Ez Bathe Portable Bathtub With Accessories, bubble bath, and five 100 foot garden hoses. The tubs and hoses were hidden behind the back couch in our van. I like to surprise my wife.
I found a somewhat remote campground near the beach with a spigot conveniently located near the edge of the camp. I unloaded and sent my wife for groceries. Then I hastily carried the Inflatable Bath Tub Ez Bathe Portable Bathtub With Accessories out to what seemed like a discreet distance from the campground, inflated the tubs, ran the hoses, filled them, and waited for my wife to return. Having sent her shopping, I knew I would have plenty of time for set up, and I was correct.
When she returned, I recommended that we change into our swimsuits, and I got no argument there. We were, after all, at the beach. She became more and more curious as we walked to the tubs. We got close and she realized what they were.
"You ... didn't." Her voice sounded strangely slow and menacing.
I enthusiasticly explained my motivation and reasoning for the wonderful surprise I had gone to so much trouble to set up for us ... for her! Bubble bath. The champagne was iced in a bucket sitting between the tubs, long stemmed crystal glasses at the ready. Eventually she saw what a tremendous thing I had done, taking us from the stone age of relationship habits and right into the forefront of happenin' couples. I thought for a moment she was glaring at me as she quickly dropped her swimsuit and plopped into the tub, but it must have been a trick of the fading sunlight.
Thirty minutes later we were sitting in the back of a police car, wrapped in towels, being lectured by a 24 year old State Trooper.
I can only recommend this product for the stated, advertised purpose.

Safety 1st 3-in-1 Cradle and Comfort Tub, Blue Review

Safety 1st 3-in-1 Cradle and Comfort Tub, Blue

I was looking for a tub with an infant sling. I chose this tub because the sling holds infants up to 16 pounds. My baby was born 8 pounds and at 11 weeks is already 15 pounds. The sling feature has really come in handy (especially for newborns) in giving my infant a bath. It suspends him and lets soapy water pass through as i rinse him off making for a safer, faster, cleaner rinse. I have now transitioned him to the tub with out the sling and the erogonomic design and non slip back pad, really keep him in place comfortably. Of all the tubs i researched, this was also one of the biggest which will transition well when he can sit up. This tub has really made bathing a lot easier and enjoyable for both my baby and I.
