(More customer reviews)As a man, how many options do you really have for shampoo? Well, if you don't want something girly scented, or something cheap that will leave your hair feeling greasy, not too many. For years, about your only options were a 99 cent bottle of White Rain or V05 in a non-floral scent, or Prell, which you could also use to peel the paint off of your car, if necessary. Of course there is always Head and Shoulders, but unless you have dandruff and need a shampoo to take care of it, there is really no reason to use that putrid, vile substance.
Today you have a few more options...Suave makes a mens shampoo, but it is cheap and doesn't really clean your hair all that well. Then there is AXE shampoo for men, but using that makes you smell like you bathed in a vat of cheap cologne. You can go the salon route and buy a bottle of American Crew for like $15, but what dude wants to spend that kind of money on shampoo?
Gillette hit the nail on the head. A maker of fine mens products like razors, shaving gels, after shave, and deodorants for years, they stepped up a few years ago with a great product in their line of shampoos. Priced in the middle of the road, more than cheap stuff like Suave but less than salon stuff, Gillette in my opinion is the best all around option for a guy's shampoo, in a market where there are such limited options. It really does the job making your hair feel fresh and clean, while at the same time giving it a nice manly scent, but not overdone with the scent to the point where you repel people.
Unfortunately, it is becoming harder and harder to find...maybe most dudes out there just would rather go with the cheap stuff...but if you like a much better quality for a few more bucks a bottle, this stuff is the way to go!
