(More customer reviews)I was given a bottle of this to try out - and WOW! The scent is delicious, natural, without being overpowering! I was surprised to find that while it doesn't foam up quite as much as shampoos with detergents in them, it still lathers really well. I was kind of ambivalent about how it felt in my hair while shampooing - it had neither the 'squeaky clean' feel that I'm used to (and which, honestly, I know is bad for hair), but it didn't have that greasy feel either, that some 'natural' shampoos have. I followed this up with one of my usual Aveda conditioners, towel-dried my hair, and put my usual quarter-size blob of Paul Mitchell leave-in conditioner (my styling product of choice :) ). As I put the Paul Mitchell stuff in, I thought to myself, "Mistake!", because my hair felt a little overconditoned. But I got my hairdryer out and continued...
And wow! Just... WOW! My hair came out silky soft, not at all greasy, just hydrated and healthy - like a hair product advertisement. My hair hasn't had this sort of sheen and texture in, like, ten years. Given that I haven't changed any of the other product I use, I realize it must be the shampoo, and I think that the fact that it doesn't contain detergents or silicone/dimethicone, means my hair was actually hydrated, without the buildup of the additives.
This stuff is definitely a regular must-have on my beauty products list :)
