Without a doubt, it's the best shampoo I've ever used. Leaves hair soft, yet full of body. My hair looks healthy, managable, and shiny. It's a little pricey, and I alternate shampoos, so I normally use this one 3 times a week - and those are the days that my hair looks the best. You won't be disappointed by this purchase - I'm not young,and this shampoo took 30 years off my damaged hair.

(More customer reviews)I've had oily hair since I was in Middle School/Junior High. For 20+ years, I used the same over-the-counter oily hair formula shampoo. Then, about 2 years ago, I couldn't find that shampoo anywhere anymore. Nor, could I find any over-the-counter shampoo designed for oily hair. Does no one have oily hair anymore? I tried using a variety of regular shampoos, but my hair would get oily and stringy by the end of the day. I had to wash my hair every day. Then, my hair-stylist suggested this shampoo. I was hesitant because of the price, but I decided to try it. It took a few tries, but now I only have to wash my hair every other day! Hooray! The only thing I don't like about this shampoo (besides the price) is that it is a thin liquid. It is not thick like most shampoos. If I'm not quick, this expensive shampoo runs right through my fingers and down the drain before I can even get it onto my hair!

My hair also tangles easily and lacks body, so I have to be careful that I don't use anything too heavy to weigh it down. After the first use if the Vital Radiance Mask my hair was silky, shiny and tangle-free. I love it! Definitely worth trying if you're on the lookout for a new deep conditioner and in my opinion, totally worth the price!

(More customer reviews)I do have faith in Phyto products...and I will continue to use them, however- this was a total waste of money. It did nothing for my hair- I could probably use something as cheap as Suave and it would look and feel the same. Plus it REEKED of rum- which is funny, but smelling rum everyday in the shower was a bit too much at times.
If you have stressed or dry hair I recommend skipping this product and trying Phyto's Regulating Milk Shampoo for dry hair. Or try some favorite drugstore brands of mine.. like Garnier Fructis or Thermasilk or Dove. (and pick up 3 or 4 bottles instead of one!)

I only tried the heavy application once, left it on for hours, but didn't see much of a difference. Then I read the suggesion to use it as a leave-in conditioner, and it worked great! My hair responds quickly to a ceramic straightening iron - only 5-10 minutes to soft straight hair. Also, using it as a leave-in product really extends the time between purchases - I get at least six months from a jar. Be patient, it might take a couple of weeks to notice results.

I started using this mousse shampoo in conjunction with the phyto volumizing spray, and I would actually consider my hair to be "fluffy." Others are even complimenting me on my hair, which is something I'm not used to. I've found it works best (I'm at my fluffiest) when I wash my hair with the mousse shampoo and use the volumizer spray at night. The next morning, I just dampen my hair with water and blow it dry. Instant fluff that lasts all day!
