(More customer reviews)This shampoo is fantastic, especially for relatively thin hair, but it really makes your hair feel clean and healthy, weightless. I don't wash my hair every day because I don't like the wear and tear. With this shampoo, my hair can make it to a third day and still look like I just washed it. It has a woodsy bergamot sort of smell, which I personally like, but your hair doesn't really get a distinct smell...just very fresh. I highly recommend it. My hair hasn't looked this healthy in a long time so it's my new fave for sure.

It isn't sticky, it doesn't glue everything together and you can brush through it easily. Plus- if you don't want to wash your hair daily, it looks just as good the second day. I really love it.

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed to see that this highly-recommended product for fine hair like mine contains paraben preservatives to which some 10-15% of the population is allergic to some degree. I have a known allergy to them, so can't even try this shampoo. For this reason, I would have given the product *no stars,* but Amazon's lowest rating is 1 star, so I had to settle for that.
If you have ever reacted with itching, rash, or hives to old (or cheap, store-brand) sunscreens--most of which have parabens--you will probably have similar problems with this product. Likewise, if you've ever reacted to a product preserved with the chemically-related sulfites that are used to maintain color of dried apricots and other foods, you will probably have trouble, too. That's because those allergic to sulfites usually also have sensitivities to parabens. These people could easily get an itchy rash or break out in hives after use. Beware that children are sensitive to paraben preservatives in even higher numbers than adults.
Parabens have caused so many problems in sunscreens over the years that most major brands have reformulated their products without them. (Likewise, sulfites provoke so many reactions--some even fatal--that the US government banned them from being sprayed on restaurant salad bars some 10-15 years ago.) So why does a high-end company like Phyto that charges such a pretty penny for its products have to use cheap parabens instead of a healthier alternative to preserve its otherwise wonderful shampoo?

(More customer reviews)First off, I have fine, stick straight, dyed blonde hair that is below my shoulders. It gets oily at the roots but has very dry ends. I read a mention of Rene Furterer products on the blog Into the Gloss and looked them up on Amazon. I've been using this in combination with the Complexe 5 Extract and the Tonucia mousse. After a week, my hair feels a lot thicker and stronger. After applying the extract for 5-10 minutes on my scalp, I get in the shower and shampoo with this, and leave on for a few minutes, as instructed.
I've noticed that my hair does not break as easily, and after blow drying, it's a lot thicker. I don't even need any other products besides the Tonucia mousse. (I do, however, use the Light Moroccan Oil for shine) I used to have to add baby powder to my roots to make my hair thicker, and fluffing my hair all day to try and get at least some volume). My hair is no longer flat, and it lasts all day. I've never had such results with any volumizing shampoo.
If you get the shampoo, I'd definitely recommend the mousse too (and the extract - which amplifies the products' effectiveness - if you have the $ to spend). The combination of the two (or three) has worked wonders for my hair in less than a week. I can't wait to continue seeing results. I'm hoping it assists in my hair growth. Smells great. Doesn't lather well at all, but that's ok.

(More customer reviews)This stuff really does work! I tend to get greasy hair if I don't wash it every day, and also sometimes you just don't have time to take a shower before you face the day. This stuff comes in handy on those occasions, it does take the greasiness out of your hair. A little bit goes a long way and the smell is a lovely delicate vanilla scent. Very feminine. I am please with the way the product works, however, I expected a bigger bottle - it's smaller than it looks online. I think it is a little overpriced for what you get.

A good-sized bottle, comes out of the bottle easily. I've just been able to get a hold of the conditioner too, so am looking forward to seeing if that is as good.

I have tried this for the second time. the first time i burned my hair with the hair dryer, the heat was waaay too hot. This second time, it is after giving birth to my daughter. Women's hair naturally sheds but this Nexxus product really assists in thickening, nourishing, strenthening, and growing the hair. Very economical!

This is a MIRACLE hair spray. It is light, very light smell, and you can work with your hair easily after you use it. It is so good, I bought four more HUGE cans of it and gave them to all my friends, and now they all threw away their old sprays. How is that for a recommendation?

(More customer reviews)This was the first time trying out dry shampoo. AG fastFWD did a good job of refreshing my hair so that it looked presentable. I was in the hospital for major surgery and was not allowed to shower for a week after the surgery. I made the mistake of using the hospital's "no-wash" shampoo on day 2 which left a layer of slimy goo on my hair(it felt like I poured a bottle of dishwashing soap on my head). Luckily, I had purchased this dry shampoo. It was was to apply. You just spray it on distribute it through your hair with your hands and then brush through. My hair had more volume and looked clean. It didn't feel completely normal to touch, but no one was touching my hair anyway. The spray did leave a strong aerosol scent in my hair that was "chemical" scented. It left no powder or residue behind. I have very long dark brown hair. I used the product again a few more times during my week in the hospital and I felt that it kept my hair looking clean. I don't think anyone would guess that it had been a week without washing it. I would recommend it to any one who needs a quick hair pick-me-up.
Pros: works well, easy to use, no powdery residue
Cons: Aerosol/chemical smelling, a bit pricey
